Last month, Crew and Rox co-hosted a private event in SF: Future of Revenue Agents.
After running the first rendition in NYC back in March (video here), we knew we had to bring it to the Bay. No panel this time. Just quick live demos from operators at Rox/Cursor building the most interesting agent companies, with ~50 of the best AEs in SF in the room.

Here are my 3 takeaways:

#1 - The agent conversation is growing up
Three shifts stood out, and together they paint the picture of where agents actually are right now in GTM:
First, agent builders are eating the "just use Cowork" instinct.
In Q1, the move was to open Claude Cowork and wire up your stack yourself. Now operators are starting in builders like Dust, Gumloop, and Rox because the templates already know how to sync the right tools for a specific job.
Less plumbing, more workflow.
Second, the frontier isn't one agent, it's orchestrating teams of them.
This is where Rox lives, a warehouse-native revenue agent that runs the sales cycle end to end: booking meetings, managing deals, running expansions. The mental model is moving from "I prompt one agent" to "I orchestrate agents that hand off to each other," with one operator running multi-tool processes that used to need a whole pod.
Third, the deployed wins are the boring, repeatable ones.
Live demos for deals where the ACV doesn't justify a rep's time. Research, briefings, follow-up content. Cycles that used to sit waiting on a human. Start where the work is repeatable and the stakes are bounded, then expand.
One caveat that came up a lot: plenty of folks feel AI has increased the volume and intensity of their work, not reduced it.
#2 - Equal convos were had about company selection than agents
Funny tell on where everyone's head is at right now.
The agent demos were the headline, but the bar convos kept drifting to "which ship do I join?" Should I take the seed-stage role or the Series B. Is this founder actually good at GTM. And a genuinely surprising number of "it's killing me I didn't get into [Anthropic] and a buddy of mine who was on a parallel path to me is about to make a bag" 😆.
Talent gravity is real, and it's getting more concentrated. Even in an event around tooling, choosing the right ship still matters so much to your success and took up mindshare. We wrote more on how to choose the right company here.
#3 - SF and NYC are different animals from a GTM perspective
Running these back to back in both cities, the contrast is sharp.
The SF room skews 0→1 builder. The NYC room skews scaler and has 2-3x the GTM talent in volume.
SF had more founders and early operators tinkering, more "I'm prototyping an agent this weekend" energy. NYC had more AEs at companies with real PMF figuring out how to operationalize what already works.
